Is a photo estimate really accurate?
For fiberglass pools, yes, the symptoms that matter (chalking, cracks, blisters, staining) show clearly in photos, and we've diagnosed thousands of them. Your estimate reflects what the photos show; if the drained shell reveals something photos couldn't, you hear about it with options before any extra work happens.
What photos should I send?
Three or four wide shots showing the whole pool from different corners, plus close-ups of every problem area, cracks, blisters, spots, rough patches. Daylight phone photos are perfect. If the pool is full, shoot through calm water; if you can include a shot of the equipment pad, even better.
